I am a freelance paleo and natural science artist and a graduate of the Savannah College of Art and Design with formal training in animation, visual effects, illustration, and graphic design. I also studied Geology and Paleontology at Columbus State University.
Since I was a child growing up in Columbus Georgia, I always had a tremendous passion for dinosaurs. My first experience of seeing a dinosaur skeleton face to face was at the Fernbank Museum of Natural History in Atlanta, Ga. If I wasn't hooked on dinosaurs before that, I was after seeing the museum's Argentinosaurus towering over the crowds of people. As time progressed, my love for paleontology grew and expanded, as did my love for art.
With time, I learned to combine my two biggest passions and began illustrating and painting dinosaurs. My formal training in both disciplines has allowed me to work with noted museums and paleontologists as well as private collectors in paleo and natural science reconstruction projects. This work ranges from skeletal reconstruction to life illustration/painting.
